The new server acquisition turned out to be a step down, or rather, in the wrong direction, which is much to say because I've been doing this for nearly five years now. The biggest issue, currently, is getting email to function properly, but this will not happen. The next step is, really, to acquire another server and rid myself of this pestilence (yes, the reference is made correctly).
Another bump in the road, for the project, as a snag in plans delays further development.
More news to come, if more news develops. Otherwise, no news to come.
